A burglary attempt at a Kings Mountain apartment Friday night left two people shot and wounded, according to police Monday.
Police responded to a call at 11:53 p.m. to the Elizabeth Estates apartments in the 100 block of Falls Street.
The two people who had been shot were taken to Gaston Memorial Hospital. They were released by Saturday, according to police.
Three people suspected in the shooting fled the scene by foot.
