CLOVER, S.C. –  Two men were arrested after a meth lab they were operating exploded sparking a fire at a home Wednesday night.

The York County Sheriff’s Office said an explosion, which led to a fire, happened around 9:30 p.m. at a trailer home on Shannon Meadows Road.

Police arrested 51-year-old Doyle Kinion Daily and 36-year-old Casey Bert Stiles, both from Gastonia, after discovering they were producing meth inside the trailer which led to the explosion.

Daily sustained burns during the fire and was treated at the hospital, according to authorities.

Both men were charged with manufacturing methamphetamines.

The trailer suffered heavy damage during the fire.  Authorities are still investigating the explosion and fire.
