Vance High School Evacuated After Bomb Threat

CMSCHARLOTTE, N.C. — Vance High School was evacuated Tuesday morning after a bomb threat was made, according to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools official.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were called to the high school on IBM Drive around 10:30 a.m. after a reported bomb threat was made.

Students and faculty were evacuated to a safe area of campus, according to the school official. Police are conducting a search of the building before they let anyone back in the school.

No injuries were reported during the incident.
