CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are searching for a man they said shot a woman at a popular uptown Charlotte bar Thursday night.
Officers said the woman was standing in line at Bar Charlotte on North College Street just before 11 p.m. when a shot was fired into the air, hitting her.
Paramedics rushed her to Carolinas Medical Center with life threatening injuries. The bar’s manager said that she was shot in the shoulder.
Officers were spread out around the bar looking for the gunman late Thursday night. No suspect description has been released.
