A Hickory woman is being accused of hitting a store clerk with her car after driving off without paying for her gas.
Police arrested Erica Kincaid and are charging her with assault with a deadly weapon and larceny of gas. According to police, Kincaid stole $40 worth of gas from a Hess station in Hickory before running over the store clerk’s foot and hitting her with her rearview mirror.
The clerk was able to get Kincaid’s license plate number and police arrested her a short time later.
