york2A fight at York Comprehensive High School on Tuesday led to the arrest of two students and the citing of four others, according to police reports.

The incident occurred at 8:25 a.m. An assistant principal at the school called police about a hallway fight close to the in-school suspension room, the police report shows.

Nardarius Davion Williams, 17, of 609 Marvin Drive, and Sammi Garcia, 18, of 835 Acclaim Drive, both of York, were arrested and charged with disturbing schools, disorderly conduct, and assault and battery, a police booking report shows. They were taken to be booked at the York Police Department and later released on a summons, according to records.

Police also cited one 15-year-old and three other 16-year-old students. They were released to their parents.

All of the students had been fighting with each other, according to the police report. They were separated by three high school administrators and the responding police officer.

The fight started when one of the students was punched in the face, according to the report. Then more students got involved after the first two ran into another hall.

The involved students are to be disciplined in line with school district policies, according to Principal Chris Black.

York police said another fight had occurred the day before when a 15-year-old punched another student in the face. They were cited.
